This product adheres extremely well to metal. My stick shift gear shift handle's interior is metal. The gear shift rod is metal. Initially, I didn't combine the two epoxy appropriately. As a professional I recommend you work the epoxy and agitant together in the palm of your hand for close to five minutes. Ever since the proper mixing, the handle and the gear shift rod have adhered and held up under extreme auto performance.:)
