I was looking for a good quality wood toilet seat in a good choice of colors to replace the original toilet seats. The colors were a very close match and not easily found in stores or even on line. The seats were easy to install and have a unique design that allows them to be removed easily for cleaning. Purchasing them at ACE and picking them up at a store on the way home was very convenient. The only con was that the handle on the cardboard packaging of one of the two seats I purchased broke when I was carrying it out of the store and so I wound up dropping it on the floor; fortunately, it was not damaged.

We bought an older home and started the remodeling. The lid in bathroom was polished wood while actual commode was harvest gold ( I thought that was a 'lost' color ). Well, hinge on wood lid broke. Had to start search for new one. Checked Ace Hardware online and was surprised they had Harvest Gold. Ordered it, it matches ! Now it seems bathroom is how it should be. Thanks to Ace !

My home is custom built circa 1940 - kept bathroom in that era. Went by other comments as to color. The seat is a shade darker than toilet, but acceptable. Didn't like the installation - almost punctured my finger trying to get the seat on. Other than that, I'm more pleased than not.
