Not as white as a white item should be, but slightly whiter than beige. One of the ground holes looks a bit obstructed by the contact, but maybe it would spring back with a little force. The plastic "ground" prong that helps keep it sturdy in the wall seems strong enough. It wobbles just the same as the working ground prong. There's a competing adapter that has two metal grounds instead of one plastic. I would have bought that one but Ace only sells it in three packs. I couldn't find this style adapter in a bigger than average Ace store or any other local store. Not even [@] website.
