I won't use any other post hole digger

Comments about Razorback® Dig Ez Post Hole Digger (1712000):

I dig big holes for basketball hoops (16"x 4'deep) about 200 a year in all types of soils. I held off buying one of these because they are so heavy but I bought one because it closes all the way on the bottom for when I get into sand. Come to find out it works great for all soils. I still have a light weight wood handle one for when my wife helps me but when I try to use that one it feels like I am useing a toy. Very heavy duty, if you dig many holes this is the one you will want.

Comments about Razorback® Dig Ez Post Hole Digger (1712000):

Performs better than I expected. Makes a perfectly straight hole. No need to taper the hole to get the post hole digger in any more. The extra weight of them makes digging in hard clays and very dry compacted soils easier. I'd recommend these to anyone that has to dig more than a few holes. Will become your best friend for fencing.

Comments about Razorback® Dig Ez Post Hole Digger (1712000):

This post hole digger is able to make a deeper hole without expanding the diameter of the hole as the separation of the handles does not need to be as great as the more inexpensive models. I have some new fence posts which are just a little longer, and my older wooden one--which still works and I won't get rid of, just cannot get there. A quality product. A little heavier than some I've seen, but not an issue for the few I need to periodically replace. Hope this helps.
