I'm not a gardener but I love my dog. When she was unable to walk, I first tried a dog wheelchair, then a dog stroller, but this cart turned out to be the best (and least expensive) option. The dog didn't like the wheelchair, and the stroller was too hard for me to get 40 pounds of dog through a small opening. With the assistance of a special support harness, I could leverage her into the cart without hurting the dog or my back. The cart is as easy to pull as my little red wagon when I was a kid. It might not do for a more rambunctious pet, but my girl was sedate and elderly, so it worked great. She's gone now, but I still use the cart to haul bags of mulch, etc. I got rid of my wheelbarrow because I don't have to support as much weight. However, the weight distribution matters, as it tends to lift up a bit if the load is heavier in the back. I bought it already assembled, so I can't address that.

Great beach cart. Comparable carts cost 2-3 times more. Assembly was difficult - took 2 people about 1.5 hours. There was an extra steel "L" shaped piece that was not listed in the assembly manual. Called the 800 number but no one ever returned the call. I trashed the extra piece.

I bought the cart to keep a generator in so I can store it in the garage when I'm not using it and move it easily to the back of the house when I need it. It works perfectly for that. My only complaint is that every nut was threaded so tight that I had to use a wrench from the first turn, thus extending the assembly time. Perhaps that's done to make sure they never loosen. If so, I guess it's a good thing. One minor thing: I was missing one flat washer, but I have plenty of them. The assembly directions are very clear, with the parts for each step in a separate package. A socket wrench is a must for assembly. The manufacturer also included an extra piece that does not appear on the parts list or fit anywhere on the cart.

I use it for wood for some of our tree trimming, for My flowers and My tool for gardening, To get my 50lb bags of dog food off my truck to my Garage, to carry dirt an mulch. It holds alot of weight and its easy to pull and easy to dump. There is nothing that I dont like about it. I have had mine for 7 years and it still works as good as the day I put it together! :) Love it!!!

I have only had my cart a few weeks, but so far it is great! I have used it for hauling garden tools,brush, leaves, and compost. I have not tried any really heavy loads such as rocks. The only con is the assembly, but only if you have to do it alone. My husband and I assembled it in about an hour, but we took our time and followed the directions carefully. You really need that extra person to hold things in place while putting in the bolts. I had my cart shipped free to my local Ace store, which was great!

It is very helpful to have a 2nd person to help you assemble this. I had trouble keeping the bolt heads steady to use a socket wrench on the nuts--the indentation in the top of most of the bolts was VERY shallow, so it was hard to keep a screwdriver in it. Also, the threads on the bolts would allow you to spin the nut just a few times around before they got really tight, so the socket wrench saved the day from that aspect. I consider myself pretty handy and at least somewhat mechanically inclined, so the directions and illustrations posed no real problems, but it ended up taking me an hour, alone, and then an additional 2 hours with my friend helping, since the bolt threads were difficult even with someone holding the bolt head steady. Would have gone much faster without those issues.

The smell was pretty icky but dissipated quickly. I had started putting this together in the living room (where it was warmer than the garage!) but was sorry after I got a whiff of it. But as I said, I opened the windows the next day and it aired out quickly. Outside, I can't really smell the odor at all.

Two tires were completely flat--the other two weren't fully inflated--so I had no choice but to borrow a tire pump, or take them to a gas station to get air in them. I was worried about the two that were flat, the valve stems pushed into their holes almost enough to disappear inside the tire. But they held up enough for 20 loads of 50/50 topsoil/compost mix yesterday, so they must be okay. I'll see if they continue to hold air over time.

The cart rolls well over uneven terrain, is lightweight but sturdy, and the dumping mechanism works well and smoothly. As another reviewer noted, though, even with the dumping feature, be aware that you will be lifting dead weight, there is no "assist" so be careful how much you put in it, for your own sake, not necessarily the cart's.

Put this together myself and that was a pain. The plastic tub seems flimsy, but have now used a it a few times and it handled heavy tools and wood with no problem.

Yes, the cart is very convenient and useful. We got the cart for Christmas, but didn't start using it until last week when the handle broke on the second day of use. It may be advertized to carry a 600 lb load, but when the round steel handle has not been completely welded to the attachment bracket, it doesn't require a heavy load or much use before the defect renders the cart useless. And since the cart is over 31 days old the manufacturer, Tricam Industries, will only warranty the part and requires the consumer to pay shipping on the replacement part.

Love this wagon! I use it to haul my gardening tools, and then to haul mulch, rocks, grass, sticks, weeds, anything!! We even put our granddaughter in it! Very sturdy, rolls over all types of terrains, no problems with it at all. It was easiest to have 2 people assemble it, and we had it done in half an hour. Not too tough. The only problem I had was getting our Westlake Ace Hardware store to order for me with free shipping to the store, the store closest to me wouldn't do it, so called another store in town and they had no problem ordering it for me. We had it within a week.

I have used it only a few times, and I not too confident that it will last as long as my previous barrow. It flexes when emptying. I feel that frame will come apart.

I bought two of these for use at a food pantry operation. Easy to assemble EXCEPT very hard to tighten lock nuts. Use to hold large qtys of fresh produce - 5lb bags of potatoes, 3lb bags of apples. Ideal for this use due to 600lb capacity. Good price for such a heavy duty unit. Tires were a little soft when I assembled carts, added some air. Fine since. Very useful. The 600lb capacity is the big selling point.

I used this to carry supplies for a patio project. It was much too difficult to assemble. The fasteners were terrible, especially the connections to the plastic tray. Use Phillips heads instead of straight head bolts! However, once it was assembled, it was easy to use. Nice tight turning radius.

I bought this cart for my gardening, but it has so many other uses. The dumping capability is perfect and so much easier for me to use than a wheelbarrow. I can dump soil and mulch exactly where I need it. My grandchildren also love playing with it. Very durable.

The first wagon I received, there was a hole in the body due to the parts being transported inside the bed poked a small hole in it. The Ace Hardware I ordered it from replaced it with no problems. I had to transport about 8000 pounds of sand from my driveway to behind my house. It did the job and the dump action on the cart was very helpful. My only gripes were that when I had to back the wagon up with a full load it was difficult due to the thin metal the frame of the wagon was made of. It was also very difficult to pull with a full level load of sand. My wagon was recommended at 600 pounds load capacity but you still have to be pretty strong to pull that. And when you go to use the dump, you need to be strong to lift the bed to tilt the dump for it to work (again that was with a full load of sand.) To be fair, it held up and saved me allot of time. I know it will do well with all the rest of my project planned. "Load weight" really seemed to be the cause of all my issues. Still wish the metal body was a thicker gauge! Good Product though....

This is a much better alternative to the wheel barrel. Easy to pull and the dumping feature is great. In addition it makes for a great wagon for the kids at a lower price then the big wagons. I like the idea it won't rust nor conduct electricity.

The cart is sturdy, but I would hate to have to dump 600 pounds, since it is purely a dead weight lift mechanism. Also, it was a bear to assemble, because the screw head bolts supplied required a huge screw driver to to hold them while a plastic lock nut is threaded from the other end with great effort.

Really can take a super heavy load and yet its still very easy to pull, even over rough terrains. The tires are the reason, take 30 pounds of pressure so it's almost effortless to roll it. The axle even allows for pretty sharp turns around corners. Love this thing. So happy I bought it. (Store did not carry it, had to order on line. [...])
