Beverly Hills ACE was started in October 2008. The store is owned and operated by Bill Damman. Bill has worked in the retail hardware business for his entire adult career. At age 13 he started working in his father's store which was the second location for the family business known as A.L. Damman Co.,; Damman Hardware. After attending Eastern Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Bill joined Damman Co full time. As Damman Hardware grew from two stores to seventeen Bill's working experience included Store Manager, Store Design and Development Manager, Advertising and Marketing Manager, Director of Operations, and Vice President. In the most recent years at A.L. Damman Company, Bill's duties included overseeing all store operations, advertising and marketing, seeking and qualifying new store sites and all aspects of building, developing and merchandising the new sites.
