When an item on www.acehardware.com is available In Stock in Warehouse, that means you can save shipping costs by choosing to have your item(s) delivered to an Ace Hardware store near you for FREE! In Stock in Warehouse is available only to www.acehardware.com online customers.

To take advantage of this service, follow these simple steps:

  1. Shop on www.acehardware.com and select items for purchase
  2. Once you have selected an item, click the 'Add to Cart button' and an estimated pickup date will be shown.

    *An item that has availability of 1-7 business days will belong to the In Stock in Warehouse method.

    *You will have the option to change your pickup option in the cart.

  3. Select a store and proceed to secure checkout
  4. Sign in and enter/verify billing address

You will be notified via e-mail when your order has left our warehouse and is on its way to the Ace Hardware store you selected as your shipping destination. (A special note to our customers in Alaska or Hawaii: delivery will take approximately 15-35 full business days, although the delivery period may vary. Please contact the store prior to pick up to ensure your package has delivered. *Items shipped from our warehouse to stores in Alaska and Hawaii will receive a 70% shipping discount. After you complete your In Stock in Warehouse order, the receipt page provides you with your order number and information about the order. Keep your order number in a safe place; it will be needed for all order references. Print this screen and save it. You must present your printed receipt with your order number, the credit card used for purchase and one form of photo ID when you pick up your In Stock in Warehouse order at an Ace Hardware store. You will be notified via e-mail when your order has left the warehouse and is on its way to the Ace Hardware store you selected as your shipping destination.

A: Yes, there is no need to place separate orders. Please make sure you validate your methods in the shopping cart or during the checkout process. You can also select multiple stores for each item you have in your cart and we will take care of the rest. Please note you will have to pick up each order at the locations you have selected. If you decide that you want to change the store you originally selected when you placed the item in your cart, don't worry, you can edit your method during the checkout process. However, once the order is placed you will not be able to make changes.

Some items might have restrictions that might prohibit you from purchasing in multiple locations.

Q: Is every item eligible for In Stock in Warehouse?

Q: How will I know when to pick up my items at the store?

A: You will receive a "Ship Confirmation" email. This email will indicate that the items are ready to be picked up at the store.

Q: How long will the store hold my order?

A: Typically a store will hold your order for 5 days.

Q: What do I need when I go to my local Ace to pick up my order?

A: You will need the following items:

  1. Receipt with Order Number
  2. Credit Card you used during the purchase (if you used a Pay Pal or Bill Me Later account, please state that when you arrive at the store)
  3. Photo Identification

Q: Who do I contact if I have questions, want to cancel or return my purchase?

A: Please contact a Customer Care Specialist at 1-866-290-5334. We are open 24 hours a Day, 7 days a week. If you wish to return a Store Pickup order, you may do so by returning it to the store which it was picked up at.
