Arjay Hardware

Arjay Ace Hardware is a third generation family business, located in historic downtown Exeter. Established in 1984 when John and Robi Jackson purchased Mr. G's grocery store, initially selling groceries and hardware until the switch was made to be strictly hardware. In 1996 John and Robi retired, passing the family business to their son Dan. In the years since, the store has seen several remodels, expansion of services and the retention of longtime employees. We also strive to give back to our community by participating in many charitable events throughout the year. In the last few years Dan has been training his son Nick to take over the family business and continue the legacy of Arjay's.
