Even though it took a while to assemble, it was relatively easy. The battery starter is fantastic and it heats up very quickly. I've grilled meats and vegetables and they have turned out perfect!

I was debating between the(S)model(all stainless) and the EP. I endend up going with the EP (Black one), and boy am I glad I did. The little exterior stainless which I have scratches easily and shows smudges and smears real easily as well. I know it's just a grill, but the finish on it when it's new is great! I never thought I wanted to show off a grill, but I do.

I wish I had cars with a warranty like Weber's. Three hours to unpack and assemble. Drip tray has plastic pegs and screws. Get three 1/4" by 1/2" stainless nuts and bolts and a few nylon washers for assembly and never have to worry about it again. Ignitor should snap in but plastic not formed right, so made a little plastic shim to hold it in place. My only complaint is having to be at work when I would rather be grillin' and chillin'. Invest in some Steven Raichlen grilling books and enjoy!

I have had a Weber Genesis since they first came out (has to be over 10 years). I use it at least 300 times a year. It has sat outside without a cover all these years. It has no rust and looks like its maybe a year old. Have replaced grates and flavor bars numerous times (expected). Have never replaced the ignitor or any parts of the gas line. I think this is almost unbelievable. My wife wants to get a new one but this one is still way to good to replace. I highly recommend this line.

I did the research.This is more money than I would like to spend but,you only live once.I like to cook, I've been a vegitarian off and on and I have a garden.So the work surface is about right.I wanted the stainless steel grates and flaverbars and did'nt want the burner.Consumer Reports rated this grill the highest but did'nt recommend it,I beleive because of it's price. I'm still learning but I'm satisfided knowing that I got the best.Sometimes paying more for what you really want is cheaper in the long run.

The "But" is everything is heavy duty construction except for the starter, plastic P O S top knob when twisting on snaped the plactic tabs. Now I must wait for 2 weeks for the part. Seem that when you spent this much for a grill, you would think that they would not cheep out on 1 part.
The instuctions should have text for each steps in ENGLISH. pictures are great but detail pictures should have text explaining what point they are trying to make.

Worth the money up front. Great construction and quality of materials. Have roasted chicken, steaks, and fish and they turn out AWESOME full of flavor. We bought a smoker box and really adds flavor to the food with this grill. Weber really knows what they are doing with their flavorizing bars. I expect this grill to last at least 10 yrs. I see no problem in that!

like one other review, we noticed right off that the magnet doors don't work well. we did adjust them and they still don't work well. we will be calling the weber co. about this, after paying this much for a grill, one would expect the doors to function/work properly! other than the doors, it is a great grill and looks awesome with the copper color!

I have had other Weber Genesis Grills and this one is very nice. My biggest complaint is the magnets holding the doors closed don't hold good enough. The doors swing open when I move the grill on my patio.
