You've got to be absolutly kidding me! The duct itself is okay(even though it is overpriced). But, DO NOT buy this item unless you buy some real clamps to go with it. Do not believe them when they say "2 clamps included". Those are NOT clamps.
Of the two cheap pieces of plastic they called "clamps", one would not even lock down. The other one sort of locked, until I turned the drier on, then the hose blew off. Plain old zip ties would have worked better than these.
I am personally sick an tired of what amounts to false advertising and American companies packaging "garbage" (they would not let me call it what I wanted to) for products and us wasting our hard earned money on it.
What is worse, it probably cost me at least $7.00 worth of gas to make another trip back into town to buy some real clamps to hold the hose on.
Grrrrrr!!!!

I bought this for my dryer. I knew I needed at least 8 ft of hose when I measured it was only seven feet long and the platic clamps are a joke they would not hold at all. I am returning this product and am disappointed as I had come to trust the Ace brand name.

I was looking for a new dryer vent hose when I saw this online. I am buying a new hose because when I tried to install this, the hose tore and one of the plastic clamps broke. It was about as cheap a product as I've ever seen & I lost the money on it.

The "clamps" are absolutely useless, and I use the term "clamp" very loosely. They are more like plastic zip ties, but they do not hold. I cannot even make the duct stay on the dryer end. I had to bend the 4 inch outlet pipe to even get the duct around it.
