Great little heater. Used in kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Just leave it in the bedroom on high heat, high temp for 20 minutes or while you are running errands with the door shut and it will warm it up! may need two for larger rooms such as family rooms. I keep it in my kitchen on top of the counter blowing towards the corner areas to keep it warm.

I was expecting this heater to have a tip-over safety cut-off switch on the bottom of the unit. There is a place for one but is not installed. I have a similar unit of a different brand which DOES have this safety feature and it adds a lot of 'peace-of-mind' knowing the unit turns off immediately if it gets overturned on carpeted floors somehow - like from children. Otherwise its a great little heater.

I love this little heater. I don't use it to heat a room. I use it as a personal body heater. I have electric baseboard heat with individual thermostats in each room. I keep the upstairs rooms at minimum heat settings and close the doors. If I want to work on the computer upstairs, I bring the easily portable heater and set it up 2 to 3 feet from me and directed at me. It keeps me warm and I don't have to heat up the entire room. Don't be fooled and think that a small heater is energy efficient when trying to heat an entire room. Remember that if you run the heater at say 1,000 watts for two hours to heat a room, it's like running ten 100 watt light bulbs for two hours. Where I live, that equates to about 50 cents per hour so you do the math. I find it relatively quiet with a strong fan that directs the heat straight out. Great little heater for the price. Compact, portable and it looks good with most furniture.

Our guest bathroom, in a zoned heated house, was colder than we wanted in the winter. Rather than use the furnace, this small-sized heater/fan works perfectly. Heats up fast and warms the bathroom in just a few minutes.

after trying two infrared heaters im sold on my pelonis hc-0120. heats up quicklky, and KICKS OUT. i tried an eden pure and duraflame and they just dont compare in performance and price. my pelonis was only [$] compared to 329.00 and 229.00my brother has two units and is very happy with his also.

I've used this heater almost continuously for 4 years (heat in winter, fan in summer). It finally died and I will be buying another one. I have 3 other different heaters and none of them compare to this one. I do wish it oscillated.

I'm not too sure what the other reviews mean by noisy...to me, it's just like my fan I use in the summertime. I actually like the noise...helps me sleep. I JUST threw out another heater I had that I paid more money for. This one heats VERY well. I'll be purchasing another one VERY soon.

I bought this when it was on sale a couple of years ago, and use it occasionally in a converted bedroom that I now use as an office. When the heater clicks on a thermometer across the room shows an increase in temperature in just a few minutes.

The "noise" it makes is predictible for any fan. My Honeywell fan, used elsewhere in the house, is similar in "noise." I'm not sure why other users have found this "noise" to be a concern to them. Time may prove that this Pelonis heater/fan has some flaws but, thus far, it is everything I expected.

As with any electrical appliance, it obviously does draw electricity and will overload a circuit if too many other appliances are connected to that same circuit. My breakers are all 25 amp or less so I had a problem at first. By plugging some other appliances into different outlets I easily overcame this problem.

I bought this heater to use at work because it is so cold in my office. I read other comments stating that the heater is very loud and was concerned that I might be returning it. I don't know what others might consider loud but I don't hear anything but a slight blowing sound and it is so compact and warm! Just exactly what I wanted and needed. So glad I purchased this. I would recommend to anyone.

Heater worked wonderfully for the first month (good heat output). After the first month, the fan started to make noise when running. Annoying, but not too bad. As of last night, the fan that pushes the heat stopped working entirely... after having the unit about 5 months. Not a good investment in my opinion.

I use mine to heat a my trailer (27' 5th wheel). Saves having to run the propane heater. Thermostat workes very well. The unit is a bit noisy, but you get used to it. I was so pleased w/it, that I bought another unit as a bathroom heater for my home.

Works great and it was only [$]....heats better than many small ones I've used...keep out of children reach...no pop out button like others that turn it off if it's not sitting on solid surface...says it has cut off fuse...I just don't know how that works...heats a bedroom well!! I'm buying another!!

This heater makes an awful burning or plastic smell when on. I have tried to run it awhile to see if the smell will dissipate but it still stinks. I am very disappointed with this heater and it is going to be returned.

I would not recommend this to anyone for any purpose.

This product is great i use it to heat up my basement in the winter and it works great even on low it gets the room very warm. I also use it to keep me and my family warm when we go camping we own a pop up camper and this heater keepes us warm on those cold camping nights. It does have a little noise but it isnt a big deal its really not that loud.

It lasted about 2 months then the fan got very noisy.
Although it put out loads of heat I gave it one star simply because of many other reports of bad fan bearings/motors.
Pass on this product.

For its price, this is a great little heater. If you aren't right next to it, however, the air being blown by the fan loses its heat and then feels like a cool breeze! It's good if you are in a 4-5 foot radius of the heater but it takes a good two hours to cause a noticeable temperature change in even a medium-sized room. Also, it's LOUD. Straight from the box it was loud; not an irritating noise, but definitely would make it hard to hear the TV, or a kitchen timer going off. I'd recommend it for a small workshop or bathroom. But not anything larger.
BUT, I did feel safe having it on, it's warm right next to it, but the casing is cool to the touch.

I read the other reviews and when the noise started, I just changed the filter. The noise is your signal to do such! When you first use a unit with a filter, you will be changing the filter frequently. In an area with few or no windows that are opened like a basement or office, is the ideal areas to use this unit. Also remember to use a serge plug outlet to reduce chances of hot plugs and wires. And buy the right size for the room.

I bought this monday for my office due to some heating problems. Does a good job. However, today on Thursday the fan motor is already making noise, enough to drive me crazy. I'm taking it back. I only have about 12 to 16 hours use. I'll try one more time. It really does a good job in heating but I am concerned about the quality of of the fan motor.

I use this heater in my bedroom, living room, at work in my office, at school, wherever I need to!! It works excellent! I have had it for about a year and it still works great. My little dog is anemic and loves curling up under the heater. It is safe and won't burn unless there is direct contact but you can sit as close as you like.

I am trying to heat this old farmhouse electrically, instead of the costly fuel-oil furnace it already has. I am impressed with all the Pelonis heaters listed. I bought them about a month ago: NOT fully tested, but I am satisfied enough to order a couple more HC0120s. Oscillation is ... eh... gravy and not really needed (as in NTK15). Compared to radiant type heaters, one of the big pluses in these is that they do NOT give out light of any kind (good for bedroom). Also, the compactness: you hardly notice them. An improvement (on all 3 actually) would be a thermostatically controlled fan speed, but... eh... gravy again.
