Comments about OATEY SCS Oatey® Water Heater Pan:
Decent pan for the money. Got away from the metal ones because they bend and kink easily in tight spaces. Have more flexibility with the plastic and it's about half the cost of the metal pans.

Comments about OATEY SCS Oatey® Water Heater Pan:
Had a leak in a 10 Gallon water heater. Did not want to spend 230 to replace. Was 10 years old. It was leaking. I removed it looked at the bottom There is a steel drain plug in the bottom. I cleaned it off and used a tube of Magic Putty. Rolled it up in strips and then used a rubber hammer to seat it. Put all back together. Now I do not have leak and if I do it will drain outside and not on my plywood floor in my shed. We use it just for the washer in the house. Gary (ParkPro)
