Completely satisfied with product and how handy it is for leaf removal. Very lightweight which reduces fatigue but I would not recommend tamping down leaves in a barrel with this for fear the plastic would crack under pressure--so I will use gloved hands for that. Order 2 sets of Leaf Scoops so you can have a helper.

When I moved into the neighborhood full of pine, oak and hickory trees, all of the neighbors were using these scoops. It didn't take long for me to see how much faster they could fill their bags of leaves than me. So I went to the store and bought two pair of these. (My neighbor told me she accidently left one in her leaf bag, so I wanted to have an extra set just in case.) These things are so awesome. I also like the fact that I don't have to go back and get the rake to get the last little bit of the pile. I have lots of hickory nuts and acorns and am able to pick these up as well. I agree with the other post to close the slits. I lose a couple of little ones. I like raking, but dislike picking up the leaves. These scoops make the task so much easier!!! Go get two pair today. I am getting my sister a pair for Christmas because she was amazed at how fast I got my leaves up.

After the first fall lawn cleaning weekend of the season, I found these helpers invaluable.

There's the given,expediting the process of picking up and bagging the piles of leaves as you can simply grab more with each grab.
The added benefit:
We have a large Pecan tree that creates a Squirrel buffet, leaving a mess of shells everywhere. Add to that our neighbors huge oak tree with tons of tiny acorns and it was like sweeping up afer a birthday party of 3 year olds.
The Leaf scoops helped to 'sweep' up those small items with ease.
The one improvement, would be to close the slits from the handles, craating a flat surface (dust pan if you will) for the small items.

I saw these in an ad and thought "Hmmmm, think I'll get a pair because they're cheap. I know they won't be any good but at least I won't be wasting much money." I bought them and was so (pleasantly) surprised. I cannot believe how great they are. They make picking up leaves SO much easier. I wish I'd had them years ago. I have recommended them to everyone I know.

These things worked great! Just make a pile of leaves, put them on, and pow! You can honestly clear your leaf piles in no time. Just set up your leaf bags and start scooping. Scoop large or small piles it's up to you. They realy saved me alot of work. I hate trying to use rakes to stuff leave bags. Not any more.

These scoops are some of the most useful gadgets I use to keep my garden looking great....the leaves, acorns and sweet gum balls from my neighbors' tress are much more easily picked up with these than any other way I have EVER done them.....have had my scoops several years now and they still look brand new....

There are similar products on the market that don't have the rake like feature on the far end of the scoop. I prefer these cause I don't have to go back to the rake to finish the pile of leaves. This product meets and exceeds my expectations. I bought 2 pair just in case I wear one out or they become hard to find. A great and inexpensive thoughtfull gift for a friend or neighbor too!!

This makes using leaf bags so much easier.You can stick your entire arm into the bag with these things on. You don't need a 3rd arm to hold the bag open. Love them.

This product is so useful and clever, I'm giving one to each of my three neighbors for Christmas and Chanukah. I can scoop piles of leaves right into a garbage bag and keep my garden gloves out of the muck. These terrific plastic "cymbals" protect me from insects that might be lurking in the yard detritus by creating a distance between my hands and arms and the leaves, branches, weeds, etc.
