I have purchased the same Greene's Cedar Wood Edging for many years. This year, I was horrified to see that the wooden slats look like they were cut with a DULL SAW or cut when they were wet or cut with the wrong saw. Also, there were numerous and some very large splinters throughout each roll of edging--at the top, sides, and bottoms of a great number of the wooden pieces. Some of the wooden pieces also had holes right through them. I went to several stores in the Atlanta area, looking for the Greene's edging that resembled the 7-8 rolls I have at home, bought within this last year. In the past 3 weeks, I have gone to at least 8 stores, looking for about 12-14 more, satisfactorily manufactured Greene's wooden edging rolls (about 10 ft. long each) and have been UNABLE to find even one (1) roll of what I have been purchasing for years...edging that is in satisfactory enough condition to purchase and be able to use on our property. We have talked to the stores and have, thus far, received no help in locating what we need. I cannot believe that all of Greene's wooden edging is NOW made this way!! If Greene's has any suggestions for us, we will greatly appreciate them!

This has always been my favorite lawn edging, for the reasons stated above. No edging lasts forever, but I have used this at several houses and found it to still be good after 6-8 years.
