I have a great heavy pan that originally had a wooden handle opposite the long handle. I like the pan alot so have been willing to purchase several pkgs of these handles to make the pan usable. Each time they've broken. That's critical when you have hot food in the pan! I think that the handle gets too hot and cracks.

I have four pressure cookers, but only one is complete. I LOVE the extra heavy duty pots for plain ole cooking - the heck with the lids and pressure cooking. Pots are good for soups, stews, boiling spaghetti noodles, making chicken stock etc. BUT 3 of my pots had the 'small' handle missing.... making it very difficult to pickup by just the long handle. These Pot Handles were an exact replacement (even though they are universal).... Now I love my old pots even more. Great fit, comfort and construction. THANKS.
