Have had the Tin Cat mouse trap for 4 days and not a single mouse. It's apparent by the droppings, that the little stinker(s) are running right over the thing. I even put pb & Cheez Whiz in it. So far,I'm really bummed since I don't want to poison them and have them rot in the walls or cause them unnecessary suffering in other traps. Any suggestions from those of you who have had success with this trap?

Comments about WOODSTREAM Victor® Tin Cat® Mouse Trap (M310):
We've been catching as many as 7 mice a night, dump them into the river where they can swim to shore if they want. Sometimes the trout catch them. There is a wire on one of the entry ports that had come loose, and they were getting out, so we soldered it to keep it from rotating, now it works really well. I made duct tape handles to make it easier to open while holding off the edge of the bridge. It hoses out easily. We are ordering more of these for our other buildings.

Comments about WOODSTREAM Victor® Tin Cat® Mouse Trap (M310):
First night my boyfriend put peanut butter on a cracker inside unit but when he placed it under sink the cracker moved to the side of the cage near the holes so the next morning the mouse had licked the peanut butter off from the outside! The next night we fixed it so the peanut butter was dead center inside the unit. No mouse the next morning, but on day 3 he was caught! He was so tiny that he was hiding under the entrance contraption so watch for this if you think the cage is empty. We are taking him to a field/wildermess type park a mile away. Done!

Comments about WOODSTREAM Victor® Tin Cat® Mouse Trap (M310):
Bought this trap because we did not want to kill the mouse. Used it for a month and never caught the mouse. Apparently the mouse was eating everything inside the trap and escaping the same way it got in. So we switched to the Victor® Live Catch Mouse Trap. Two in a pack for $6 at the store. It worked in less than 3 hours. We then free the mouse. We ret'd the [$] Victory Tin Cat Mouse Trap. It was useless!

Comments about WOODSTREAM Victor® Tin Cat® Mouse Trap (M310):
This trap truly works. We bought the less expensive Victor trap model #M323 first, which was a huge waste of money. This trap is easy to set, and if you get a very active mouse, you can even hear when he's caught. Very humane because it gives them room. I put a small piece of cracker with a little peanut butter inside to make it more attractive.

Works wonderfully I caught not only one, buy two mice the first night I put it out! I just put two crackers inside with peanut butter on them and put a piece of cracker in both tunnels to lure the mice in.

Comments about WOODSTREAM Victor® Tin Cat® Mouse Trap (M310):
This is an excellent live catch mouse trap. We had pretty good luck with the Victor® Mouse Trap Multiple Catch traps which are made of plastic. However after catching three mice we could catch no more as the culprits would manage to gnaw on the plastic just enough to get out of the trap. The Tin Cat has been jailbreak proof so far. We caught two more mice with it and have no evidence of any more mice.

Comments about WOODSTREAM Victor® Tin Cat® Mouse Trap (M310):
Caught our escaped dwarf roborovsky hamster without injury to it.It took three nights of the trap being out with food in, but it finally worked! These hamsters are really fast runners and it would have been almost impossible to catch without this live trap. You can look through the large air holes to check for animals.
