I got six of these so far just for storing my outside Christmas Lights. They are well designed in that the inner black piece is the handle and the reel rotates around it as you crank. No more untangling Xmas lights every year. I store the reels by using a piece of pipe and slipping the pipe through the inner circle; then hang the pipe.

Notice that this cable reel has a complete inner grip that rotates. All of the others I have found, just have a 25% portion for you to hold on to, so you waste half your time fighting with the dang thing to get a grip on it.
Also Ive noticed that the plastic they use to mold these is hight quality, not cheap stuff that would crack if you drop it.
