Comments about Presto® Pressure Cooker (01362):
This pressure cooker uses the classic rocking top weight design, so a person can't tell if the pressure is 10,15,20 pounds, but it is a proven design that performs as promised. Results are fast if you quick-cool, and maybe a little faster than skillet cooking if you let the unit sit and cool on its own as some recipes state. Either way, the pressure makes things moist and soft - very good. Be sure to read the details in the owner's manual - e.g.: put rice in its own bowl with water, cover with foil, put more water in the cooker. Too little water will just burn food. Read the directions. Luckily, burnt food will come off of stainless steel by boiling baking soda in water, then using a steel wool pad.
