this film is just poor quality. it was difficult to work with and tore very easily. whatever didn't rip during installation ripped during the blow dryer step. big disappointment, total waste of time and money.

You can't expect tape to stick to a dirty surface so make sure you wipe down the window frame before putting the tape on it and you'll be fine.

just gotta make sure window is clean and rub tape on wall before you take the paper off keeps heat and cold out light a must in the house or apt keeps air conditioning/heat where it belongs

Everything went well and seemed fine until a few hours after installing. Then the tape gave way on all four windows, rendering two hours of work useless. Ace should improve the quality of this product or discontinue.

The film was easy enough to apply but you have to be very careful with the hair dryer because the film warps easily. The instructions tell you to hold the hair dryer too close to the film. I had to do one window over again because I followed the instructions to the letter.
Once I installed the film on the windows, I couldn't feel any difference. It was still drafty and now - a mere three weeks later - the double stick tape is coming off. This is a poor product. I'm disappointed because I've had good luck with other Ace products. Would not purchase again.
