I'm a pre-company only furniture polisher with a ton of lived-with antiques. People regularly ask me how in the world I keep my wood looking so good, and assume I put a ton of time into them. Minimal time. Maximum results. Love it!

I purchased our tables from a high end furniture store. They recommended treating my tables with Guardsman Furniture Polish only. I've had my tables 4 years, and all of them need to be refinished.
A furniture technician advised me that the Guardsman should be used no more than once a month. The cream should be very watered down. And when applying, it should be used sparingly and then immediately wiped off until the surface is absolutely dry. This technician also was a Guardsman representative.
I really think, since my tables already had a finish on them, that simple water and mild detergent would have sufficed. Lesson learned.
I would be very careful about putting any product on wood furniture that has a finish on it. It's not worth ruining the finish. I have also tried Guardsman Furniture Cleaner to try to get the residue off, and it makes the finish soft and it smears it around, but it does not remove it back to the original finish. Will take a professional to do that, if possible.

I have been using this product for 20 yrs. It keeps the wood HEALTHY! It goes directly into the wood furniture upholding all of it's claims: "cleans, restores, and protects...wax free." I highly recommend the Guardsman concentrate cream Furniture Polish!
