I bought mine 6 years ago. I used it on stage at nightclubs while I played gigs in a classic rock band.
It's low-profile, small footprint, light weight, directional control and durability make it perfect for playing gigs on small stages. (Good thing it's not all black or people would trip over it because of low visibility)
The extra outlets are exactly what a guitar player needs to offer remote plugins for effects pedals & such.
Anyone that walks near this unit (through it's airflow) is amazed at the power that it has. Our drummer bought 2 traditional fans, but now he wishes he had bought just one of these babies! I point mine at the drummer once in a while to remind him of his mistake....lol

I bought one of these for my shop about 4 years ago, but ended up using it in my kids' bedroom for background noise. It has run 8-10 hours a night for most of those 4 years without any problems. I've also used it for a multitude of other jobs as needed. The best feature is that the blower head rotates 270 degrees to direct the air in any direction. I would highly recommend.
