Since I was late in putting away Christmas "stuff" carefully, in no store could I find the reels for light storage until I found them at Ace on line! These reels worked out perfectly. They hold more lights than expected when the cords are wrapped meticulously. The canvas sack serves to protect the bulbs as the lights are packed in a full box. Good job, Ace!

These light reels and the accompanying bag are ok for a small number of lights, but the reels won't hold as many lights as they claim and still fit back into the bag. I wound up returning mine because they are just too small.

My daughter has a production company and constantly has problems with string lights ending up in one big ball! These reels are the perfect size, come with a bag and fit in her start-up company price range! You can find them every once in a while on other sites, but they are twice the price. Thanks Ace!

I'm really happy I bought this, I just wish I bought more. It says each reel will hold 200 mini lights but I could only fit a strand of 100 lights on each. Even with only 100, I couldn't fit the reels back in the red bags. Maybe I should have wound them tighter but I didn't want to crush the lights. Even without the bag, I liked how the reels stacked neatly and then I just put them in a box. I'm not sure what to do with the red bags now...

This is the best thing that has happened to Christmas tree lighting. We used to struggle putting them in a plastic bag hoping they wouldn't get tangled every year. Now, we don't have to worry. Wish I had this 20 years ago!
