Super Light Trimmer
Being a woman, I needed a lightweight trimmer. This is the third cordless Toro I've owned.... should I say more? I LOVE the weight, power, and ease of handling.

I use this to trim tall grasses in combination with my reel mower that cannot handle cutting tall ones. Also great for edging and cut down new tender growth of trees where their stumps were left in the ground. If you have wrist issues this product is not for you. The two buttons are held at the same time for too long can hurt the wrist, so push, hold, and release, say sweep from side to side for as long as you're comfortable. I'd say for me so many seconds to up to a minute before I release. I don't have carpal tunnel, but it's not too early to prevent by knowing how to operate ergonomically. Like that it's cordless and lightweight.

Comments about Toro® Cordless String Trimmer (51467):
If you have heavy weeds the power of this weed eater will be gone within 20 minutes and have to wait around at least 15 hours of recharging to use it again. But after getting your weed situation like you like it this weed eater should maintain your yard with 2 recharges. I like this weed eater even with the botheration of the recharging. Light weight, no gas, no motor, no extension cords. The line advances properly. Would buy again.

Best Uses

Comments about Toro® Cordless String Trimmer (51467):
I bought this specific model because it was lightweight and battery operated. It was great for grass and small weeds but when I tried it on some large woodier weeds there simply wasn't enough power; the line bounced off the stalks without cutting them. I'd recommend this trimmer with the caveat that its good for trimming small plants, but for denser weeds you'll probably need something more powerful.

Comments about Toro® Cordless String Trimmer (51467):
I know it's not meant to me a lawn edger, but it works great as one. I use it for that, hedging and trimming. I love how light it is, and the fact that it's cordless makes it one of the best values on the market! The only improvement I would make to it, is a removable battery, for safety reasons: so the kids won't be able to start it up if playing in the garage!

Comments about Toro® Cordless String Trimmer (51467):
I just use it for trimming the grass in a couple of small areas between the street and sidewalk. It handles well and does a good job. Love the self feeding of the line. That is a real plus. Haven't used it enough yet to see how long the battery lasts, but so far it's been fine.

This trimmer is perfect for it's intended use. I have about 15-20 mins of grass trimming around a small yard and I am very happy with this trimmer. It can't clear a field of weeds, but that's not the point. VERY light, VERY easy to assemble, and quiet.
