1st time this year I left my motorhome in storage in the mountain of Southern California for 5 weeks. Found no mice droppings and no traps sprung. Last year before using this I would find two mice dead in two of several traps every few weeks. I did find mice droping outside on the roof.

This is the only thing I can use to keep them away! I agree the mice disappear. As everyone else not sure where they are coming from but when I put these in my basement and crawspaces they never re-appear. I was doing moth balls this is a smell I can tolerate I have two boys 4 & 8 not worried about thoes sticky traps and having to throw the mice out when they are found!

This product is great! No need to worry about pests dying and waiting for that smell to find where they ran off to. Placed 2 bags in my basement (1,000sqft. Within a day I was not catching any mice at all with the old peanut butter and trap. There are no signs at all that I still have an issue. Winters are cold here and they always seem to find a way to get inside. I will have to see how this product holds up this winter. This is why I only gave it 4 stars.

This product works very well and has a pleasant odor to humans. It is very likely that the reviewer who posted about it not working was missing something. I believe that it is possible that the rodents actually ate their way OUT of his boat because they hated the smell. I have read before where people have had holes chewed through their doors so rodents could escape the smell.
So, use the product. It's great. But remember to leave an "escape hatch" for them.
We are using this product in conjunction with an ultrasonic alarm and our mice seem to have disappeared in two nights.

The rodents ate through the headliner of my boat to get to the crab bag, now I still have mice and have to repair were I left the deterrent.
