This stuff works great I like the fact it is concrete safe and won't kill off the grass. I used for North side of a building as this is easier and cheaper to get your hands on then Ice Slicer. I put it down when it was in the 30's and wow I have never heard ice melt before it even made some puddles and you could see it working FAST. Only con I guess is thick ice still does refreeze and only thing I have seen take care of that and stay for a storm or two was Ice Slicer but like I said it costs more and you have to buy very large amounts. Long story short for your house GREAT! For larger properties with shade and large amound of ice GOOD your still going to need that friendly ice pick.
