Spring Lake Ace Hardware

Spring Lake Ace Hardware is rooted in a proud family tradition that began in 1955, when George Dean opened Northshore Hardware in North Muskegon. What started as a small neighborhood store grew into a lasting legacy-passed from George to his sons Kevin, Greg, and Tim, and now proudly operated by the third generation of the Dean family. Northshore joined Ace cooperative in the 1970s, expanding product offerings and bringing trusted brands to the community. While tools and repairs remain central, the Dean family built its reputation on expert advice, quality service, and treating customers like neighbors. In 2005, Spring Lake Ace Hardware opened to serve even more of the lakeshore. Our love for hockey and hardware still shows- there's even a skate sharpening machine in-store. Today, we remain committed to the values George began with and hope to pass them on to our own children-the fourth generation- as we continue earning trust of our neighbors.
