Ship-to-Home is a convenient service available only to www.acehardware.com online customers; all item(s) can be delivered to a specified address. To take advantage of this service, follow these simple steps:

  • Shop on www.acehardware.com and select items for purchase
  • Once you have selected an item, click the 'Add to Cart button' and you will see if this item is able to be shipped to your home.
  • Sign in, enter/verify billing address
  • You will be notified via e-mail when your order has left the warehouse and is on its way to your shipping destination. For quicker delivery, please select Next Day or Second Day shipping.

After you complete your Ship-to-Home order, the receipt page provides you with your order number and information about the order. Keep your order number in a safe place; it will be needed for all order references. Print this screen and save it. You will be notified via e-mail when your order has left our warehouse and is on its way to your shipping destination.


Q: Is there a shipping charge on Ship-to-Home orders?

A: Yes, there are shipping charges associated with Ship-to-Home orders. Shipping costs for orders placed on acehardware.com are based on the weight of the total order. An order containing multiple items typically receives a volume-shipping discount and therefore your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual ship charges appearing in your cart. You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during checkout.

Q: Does Ace offer expedited shipping options?

A: Yes, Ace offers Next Day and Second Day shipping options in addition to Standard Ground.

Q: How long does it take to receive my Ship-to-Home order?

*Total delivery time includes processing and carrier transit time for all 50 states.

Please note, business days are Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Furthermore, most items may be shipped all 50 states via Standard Ground, Second Day and Next Day Service. However, Gift Cards can only be shipped via Standard Ground and Next Day.

Q: Can I pick some items up at the store, have some items shipped to another store, and have some items shipped to my home?

A: Yes, there is no need to place separate orders. Please make sure you validate your methods in the shopping cart or during the checkout process. You can also select multiple stores for each item you have in your cart and we will take care of the rest. Please note you will have to pick up each order at the locations you have selected. If you decide that you want to change the store you originally selected when you placed the item in your cart, don't worry, you can edit your method during the checkout process. However, once the order is placed you will not be able to make changes.

Some items might have restrictions that might prohibit you from purchasing in multiple locations.

Q: Is every item eligible for Ship-to-Home?

A: A majority of our items are available for Ship-to-Home. Item availability will appear once the item is placed in the cart.

Q: Do I pay online or in store?

A: You will make your payment online. Your credit card, Bill Me Later account (click here for details), or Pay Pal account (click here for details) will be charged once you receive your "Ship Confirmation" email.

Q: Who do I contact if I have questions, want to cancel or return my purchase?

A: Please contact a Customer Care Specialist at 1-866-290-5334. We are open 24 hours a Day, 7 days a week. If you wish to return a Store Pickup order, you may do so by returning it to the store which it was picked up at.

Additionally, charges (retail price, shipping and handling, and sales tax) for unclaimed online merchandise are not refundable. For additional information regarding returns, please click here.
