The guy at the store said to get this a long with a chemical. I used it first and DON'T NEED THE CHEMICALS. It did the trip on my bathroom pedestal sick. SO much better than pouring chemicals into the water supply.

The Zip-It is a great tool. I had a slow shower drain in my daughter's (toddler with a lot of hair) bathroom. I had tried all of the home do-it-yourself plumbing tricks such as excessive plunging and the good baking soda-vinegar rinse. I also removed the overflow plate and inserted a wire clothes hanger but was unsuccessful. I headed to the hardware store on Thanksgiving Eve in search of a drain snake. However, the associate suggested the Zip-It. I was skeptical so I purchased the Zip-It, an 8-ft drain snake tool and a new drain cover-strainer designed especially for hair. I said the Zip-It would be my first line of defense in attacking the slow drain. I returned home and used the Zip-It by inserting it in the overflow opening and to my surprise the balls of hair were removed instantly. The Zip-It is now safely stored in the garage and I will need to return an item( 8-ft drain snake) on Black Friday!!

Handyman at my house showed Zip it to me.. I used it and in no more than 2 min, I had a vanity sink cleared.. I used to have to take the pipes a part and take out all the items I stored under the sink... I can't believe I've gone so long without knowing of Zip It.. Another invention I'm saying " Why didn't I think of that"...

I've been using this product for a few months now. Everytime my wife complains that the bathroom drain is clogged, I snake this into the drain and after pulling out large clumps of hair and other gross looking stuff the drain is working great again. Love it!

Cheap, does the trick - what more could you want?
Packaging said one time use, but I washed it off and have been reusing it many times.
We had a lot of hair getting stuck in our shower drain, and after a few bottles of Drano, I decided I needed something better. Stuck this in a few times, it caught the hair and pulled it out.
Works like a charm!
