So glad I found this stool on the website, had been looking for one for a few months. I replaced one I had that was similiar to this that was 20 years old. I think this will last longer, it seems heavier. I love the lift up seat. I use it to reach tall cabinets, shelves, and when I need that extra step. Just love it and so easy to put together. My Ace store was so nice when I went to pick it up, of course they know me well.

We had a yellow one that lasted 32 years. It probably would have lasted much longer but my cat slept on it and infested it with fleas in the padding. NOT GOOD. We were so thrilled to see ACE Hardware had one. They are our local feed and grain also.

We love it! So easy to assemble, my twelve year old son put it together. We purchased it for my sister who can no longer stand while cooking and canning in the kitchen. It is just the right height for the kitchen counter, sink, and stove.

Our stool was WELL USED, but has rusted out around the "joints" and thus became unsafe to step on or allow children to sit on at the table. We enjoyed it lots over the many years we had it and are now wanting to replace it with one of the same! Sorry I couldn't find them in the stores any longer or magazines that came to the house. It's a favorite around our house, was very versital.
