I bought this pressure washer yesterday to clean mildew from painted brick. Even holding the wand 6 inches away from the surface, it still didn't have enough power to clean the mildew. I moved over to my car. It did fine on the paint (I went through a car wash 4days ago, so how dirty was it really) but again, not enough pressure to clean the rims. Totally unimpressed with this product. Don't waste your time or money.

Read the directions carefully and you should be happy. The end of the cord has a power adapter on it that has a protective device. The instructions remind you to push the reset button every time you plug it back in. Many entries say the washer worked once, then quit. This is probably why.
Also, look at the water supply connections. The clear plastic piece goes on the washer with PIPE THREADS. The blue piece with the moving quick disconnect collar goes on the hose with HOSE THREADS. If you install them backwards the unit will gush water everywhere. Once properly assembled, it works nicely, although a gasket for the soap dispenser would have been nice.

The assembly was absolutely horrible!I tried to reach someone at the toll free numbers but with no luck. Tried the website but there were no instructions!~! I am sending this back! Too bad.I was looking forward to being able to tackle some home issues this weekend. Was very disappointed!!

I give this 4 stars because it does what I want, but my expectations aren't that high.
This is my second washer of this general type, in fact I think it must have been built by the same folks because it sounds and performs the same. The output is no better than the old one although it is rated 1600 psi and the old one was 1300 psi.
Don't plan on leaving this to your grandchildren. Low cost power washers work well for most lighter duty home projects but have limited life expectancy. (In the last 15 years my brother has gone thru 3 similar units and this is my second, used only for occasional home cleanup and painting prep; some years it has never left the garage.) I've read in reviews on other sites that the plastic garden hose fitting is leaky, and I found that it can pop loose at the threads. I will be replacing the fittings with brass or steel fittings.
So, I'd suggest you wait to buy one until you are ready to use it so that the warranty doesn't expire before you get some hours on it. This has a year warranty (better than many) but has a flyer packed with it which says "DO NOT RETURN TO STORE" and provides contact info. Think maybe they have had a few returned? And if you have to pay shipping to return it to Minnesota you probably won't bother with it.

Initially, I thought my pressure washer was defective. I found an electric pressure washer will not start unless you have the trigger handle depressed, that is, the machine comes on when it detects a flow of water.I love being able to use it anytime and not waiting for my husband to start it (the gas pressure washers). It took the built up mold off our redwood front porch and sidewalks, although I had to hold it rather close to get the long term growth off the sidewalk. I just tried to wash my car with it. It leaks where the garden hose attaches to the machine. It wouldn't start. I tried for several minutes to start it. I checked to make sure it was getting power. It ran for a second or two, then it wouldn't start at all.

The machine worked fine once I (with luck) got it together. But the instructions for assembly were TERRIBLE. Poor English is a sloppy but forgivable mistake. More serious and potentially machine-damaging are parts that are not shown on the instructions, have two different names on the same sheet of paper, are not labeled with "pump" and "hose" sides as claimed, etc. But I enjoy using the machine itself.

I like the pressure washer because it is not complicated and easy to use for a woman. It is light and compact to handle when using. It is powerful enough to do what I want to do (clean off the moss and winter dirt that accumulates. I am not interested in so much power that I have to be afraid I will damage my wood fence, etc. I can climb on a ladder and lift it for cleaning of my shed roofs. It will save me money as I can do it myself as a woman!

Machine works well for the money. My box included a bonus turbo nozzle that really cleaned the moss off of concrete surfaces,I was very impressed.I was dissapointed the second time I went to use the machine and found that the plastic tip had cracked on a seam starting from the hole at the tip of the nozzle.I contacted AR and was very unimpressed with their customer service.I have wrapped my cracked tip with several plastic ties but have not yet had an oppertuinity to see if it is working again.I think it would be wise to wrap this tip with ties prior to using it as it appears that the tip could be prone to this problem.

I loved the pressure washer, I used it mainly to wash my car. it does a very good job ,however, the washer has no place to put the electricity wire, have to keep it loose.

I was surprisingly pleased with how well it cleaned mildew off my white vinyl deck, deck flooring, as well as underneath the deck, concrete, brick and slate steps. It was my first experience with power washing. The size of unit as well as the weight and power were just right for me (110 lb./5'3").

I used it for cleaning my fence.. it worked fine.. I saw various electrical models.. they are all above $100.. this one is really good.. for $60 after rebate. Used it for 2 days for more than 8 hours.. havent found any problem..
I havent used any pricey pressure washer so I dont know what facilities they have.
