Prime-Line Metal Indoor and Outdoor Key Lock Cylinder

This Schlage-shaped keyway and cylinder lock was designed to only aesthetically match actual Schlage keys and keyways, as it was designed specifically to be used in surface-mounted sliding patio door handle sets. This cylinder lock is constructed of brass, it comes finished with a chrome face and features a hardened cut-away tailpiece. Make sure to dry fit the lock before completing assembly to fit your door correctly. Note: If the key is binding the pressure from too tight of a fit is the reason. It works with vertical and 45-degree keyways (angle is determined when latch is extended to the locked position). Note: The components of these cylinder locks are not compatible and cannot be rekeyed to match other Schlage locks, nor will Schlage keys fit into this cylinder lock.
