With the same great features as the MS 462, including the STIHL anti-vibration system, the unique bumper spike design, a slim sprocket cover, non-electronic carburetor, the MS 462 R also features a wrap-handle design that gives professional users improved comfort in certain situations, such as use with long guide bars and allows for the saw to be used in multiple positions for felling or limbing with hands in the proper positions.
  • The side-access chain tensioner makes it much more convenient for the user to adjust the saw chain with a bar wrench as opposed to the typical location of the guide bar adjustment screw
