The OPT118 is powered by a Kohler Command PRO CH270 7 HP 208 cc engine equipped with a direct drive chain trencher that travels at 180 ft/min to create 18 in. deep by 4 in. wide channels using its 3/8 in. plow plates and 21 quick change carbide alloy high pressure tri cut teeth that run at 400 RPM, and to ensure a cleaner operation, the OPT118 is equipped with a 6 inch side off loading auger that removes dirt from the channel. This machine also features a heavy duty steel construction, adjustable handle with a release and stop safety hand grip, and 15 in. 6 wheels with auto lock in reverse capability.
