Product Overview

Lead Thin is a thin film, water based, elastomeric coating formulated to encapsulate lead-based paints and forms a dense, high-solids barrier that blocks and seals to prevent the migration of lead contaminants from reaching the surface. It contains Bitrex, a bitter tasting, anti-ingestant, which deters children from oral contact. Lead Block conforms to the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Public Health - 13931 and meets the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development H.U.D.
