These nylon cord protectors are strain relief bushings with a right angle opening designed for use with flat cables. By securing the cord at the panel entry point, the cord protector absorbs the forces that are placed on the cord from pulling, pushing and twisting. With this type of cord protector, the cord exits the panel opening at a right angle so that it sits flush against the panel, saving space.
