The Smart Leak Detector is a standalone sensor that can be placed anywhere in a home to alert you when and where it detects moisture to help prevent water damage and loss. If the Smart Leak Detector senses the presence of water, extreme temperatures or high humidity, it will alert you in one or more ways, according to set preferences: Moen Smart Water App, text, phone call or email.
  • Sends real-time notifications to your smartphone device in the event of water leakage outside of your internal home plumbing, e.g. water heater, basement, appliance
  • Use and connect multiple detectors within your home for personalized, whole-home security
  • Always-on monitoring for water leaks in vulnerable areas, while measuring the room's temperature and humidity to help protect against frost and mold risk

  • Moisture will produce a visual, audible or mobile alarm, when used in conjunction with the Flo by Moen smart water shutoff, leaks can also trigger the main water line shut-off feature
  • A 6-foot leak sensing cable with leak detection across its length and circumference can be added to extend the moisture detection of vulnerable areas
