The MRCOOL DIY Select 12K BTU 115V Single Zone Ductless Mini Split System with optional black indoor air handler is designed for true do-it-yourself installation, requiring no specialized tools, prior HVAC experience, or professional labor. Ideal for bedrooms, home offices, garages, bonus rooms, and other spaces up to 550 sq. ft., it delivers efficient, reliable heating and cooling year round. Both the condenser and air handler feature MRCOOL's DIY friendly installation technology. The system uses pre-charged Quick Connect line sets filled with environmentally friendly R454B refrigerant, eliminating the need for vacuum pumps or refrigerant handling. The condenser includes an 11.5 ft line set, while the air handler adds a 13 ft Diypro cable that replaces traditional electrical conduit and protects wiring from moisture, pests, and wear. Most components are included, making setup faster, cleaner, and accessible for first time installers. With a 17.5 SEER2 cooling rating and 9 HSPF2-4 heating efficiency, the system provides dependable comfort while helping reduce energy costs. Users can control temperature, scheduling, and energy monitoring through the wireless remote, the MRCOOL Comfort app, or Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant voice commands. Comfort modes-including Sleep Mode, Dry Mode, Auto Mode, and programmable scheduling-enhance everyday performance and efficiency. For durability, both units feature a Gold Fin corrosion resistant coating, ideal for humid or coastal environments.
