Zinc-plated nylon insert stop nuts resist corrosion to help ensure your project is done right. Compressible nylon inserts bind the nuts to eliminate the need for lock washers and prevent loosening due to vibration. The nylon ring inside the nut creates rotational resistance when displaced by a mating male threaded fastener, thus preventing loosening.
