Create Color-Blocked Wall Frames

What You'll Need:
- Clark+Kensington®
interior paint - 1.5" angled paintbrush
- Paint tray and liner
- Paint stir stick
- 150 grit sandpaper
- Painter's tape
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Damp rag
The color blocks on each frame need to align with each other in order to create this look, so before you paint, position the white frames on a flat surface in the same pattern that you're going to hang them on the wall. Measure out the color block widths and mark them with a pencil, lining them up from frame to frame. When you're done, put tape on the outside of the pencil marks.
Next, lightly sand between the tape lines. Wipe away any dust with a damp rag, then use the angled brush to apply Clark+Kensington® Paint Dark Diversion 37B-7. Apply multiple coats, giving each coat time to dry before moving on to the next, to create a rich, vivid hue with an even finish.
Helpful Tip:
Remove the painter's tape before the paint has finished drying to create crisp, clean lines
