Simple, clean and elegant, the Standard Post is a 4 in. square, galvanized steel pole. This product comes in two sizes, short (28 in.) and long (38 in.). The length of post chosen should be dictated by the mailbox chosen. Refer to the mounting instructions that come with the chosen mailbox for USPS guidelines on mounting height. Generally, shorter traditional style mailboxes need a longer surface-mount post and taller mailboxes require a shorter surface-mount post to adhere to USPS mounting requirements. All mounting hardware is included along with installation instructions. The Standard Post is fully powder coated and is available in all matching mailbox colors.
