Porters Ace of Platte City

Porters Ace of Platte City is the fourth Porters store in the Kansas City Northland, after Kearney, Smithville, and Lathrop. The Porter family has owned and operated this local group of stores since 1952 when Mack Porter came home from WWII and after a couple years teaching, decided he would go into the lumber business in Kearney, MO. That lumber company grew through his dedication to the community and exceptional customer service into the 6 store company that Porters is today. We all strive to live up to the standards that Mack set still to this day. Our Core Values are Community, Professionalism, and Service.
