About This Store
Moneta Farm Service Opened as a retail store in 1973 on property that was a family poultry business since 1923 by Calvin P. Woodford. The Original store was a Southern States Coop and sold mainly, feed, seed, and fertilizer. In 2018 Moneta Farm and Home Center partnered with ACE Hardware to expand the product line carried, and bring more services and value to its customers. Moneta Farm and Home Center Continues to carry one of the most diverse lines of products in the area making it truly a one stop shop. In 2022 The Woodfords sold the business to Bolster Hardware in order to preserve the legacy of the store for many years to come. Moneta Farm and Home Center will continue to offer the best possible service to the community and meet its needs, While our owners may have changed the staff and service that you came to know will not change. We look forward to continued Bright Future in the Smith Mountain Lake area.
