About This Store
Whitmore Ace Hardware, a family business steeped in tradition, proudly enters its fifth generation of leadership. What has kept us strong as a brick-and-mortar business for over 120 years is our deep connection to the community and commitment to exceptional service. Mike and Mary (Whitmore) Cripe managed the business alongside Mary's father and grandfather for many years. Their sons, Michael and David Cripe, have carried on the family legacy, expanding the business to 15 locations. At Whitmore Ace Hardware, we hold firm to our core values: being noticeably different, fostering family and community, amazing every customer, working with passion, and living a life of gratitude.

Community Outreach
We are collecting gently used prom dresses and accessories in all four Whitmore Ace Hardware Stores during the months of January and February. There will be a prom dress distribution March 10th at Fossil Ridge Library in Braidwood from 9--3. All local students are welcome.
